Flo-rida with the pink ones...

Hola...
Sitting here on the sofa with the pink ones..rest of the báners (that would be code for my fellow irish traveller companions - note i use that term a lot) have gone shopping...outlet shopping, pure buzz.

At the moment..Hurricane Irene is having great craic outside at the mo....weather is a bit insane - but im quite tan-tastic so tis alright..

Arriving back in Dtown for a few days on Sunday (hurricane allowing of course!!)..super un-organised for my NZ and OZ trip. My "hand-luggage" size backpack is not looking like a do-able option. So im going shopping tomorrow in the Flo-rida mall to get me a new one. Anne Marie so kindly informed me that my "summer attire" will not suffice in NZ..where it is like 11 degrees right now!!! Major difference to current climate of 36 degrees in florida!

Stayed in the Hard Rock Hotel in Universal last night...it was amazing. Universal was great fun too. Highlight of the trip was however...poor little Rachie - my 3 year old lil sis..who decided in a 10 seater bus, on a free-way - she REALLY needed to do "the wees"...like REALLY. "Mom will we be there in one minute or never....one minute or never". The poor child...finally made it back to Old Key West and the child made it to the "teelat" as she calls is.

We are all disney'd out, but still got a few more things to do..going to Fantasmic tonight in Hollywood studios. I also weigh about a stone more due to the "Disney Dining Plan" - thanks for that mom...continous all you can eat dining!!! But this will prob make up for the time in NZ and OZ..when I wont be able to afford to eat!!

Home on Sunday for Four days..then flying to Christchurch on Friday 2nd Sept...eeeek. Have been onto my fellow travellers..Marie is flying from Shannon on the 2nd and Anne Marie will be joining myself, marie, noelle and kieran on our Stray trip for the month...citing times ahead!!!

Welcome the pink travelling blog

Hello one and all... this is my firstest ever post. As I sit here in work looking out the window at the rain (oops did I give away that I am at work ;) ). I am about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime...first stop Florida, for a pre-travelling trip with the Famille.

Flying out Saturday Morning, 13th August for 2 weeks to Disney world Baby. Two weeks under one roof with the pink ones and KT n Candy, Mom & Greg. OMG.

Then back for a few days to sort out my life- dramatic as ever for everyone that knows me. Then me and my wheelie suitcase full of totally useless items of clothing are going to travelling. First stop New Zealand, meeting Anne-Marie, Marie, Kieran and Noelle for the Irish invasion tour....eeek so exciting. Not sure how well the wheelie will do some of the places on our itinerary.

Then its onto Ozz-ie-land from Mid October to meet Josie Jump and Conal for a campervan tour of East Coast Oz....wait until you see my bed for the month.....http://www.jucy.com.au/vehicles/jucy-choppa-4-berth.aspx
